Curriculum

Attività professionali

Giulia Venturi dal 2007 svolge attività di ricerca presso l'Istituto di Linguistica Computazionale “Antonio Zampolli” (ILC-CNR) di Pisa e fa attualmente parte dell'ItaliaNLP Laboratory ( www.italianlp.it).

Nel 2011 ha conseguito il dottorato di ricerca presso l'Università di Torino con una tesi dal titolo “Lingua e diritto: una prospettiva linguistico-computazionale”.

I suoi principali interessi di ricerca riguardano la definizione di strategie di adattamento di strumenti di annotazione linguistica automatica alle caratteristiche del linguaggio giuridico e di metodi per l'estrazione di informazione linguistica ed extra-linguistica da corpora di dominio con una particolare attenzione a corpora rappresentativi di diverse varietà di linguaggio giuridico.

Dal 2013 docente del modulo avanzato Natural Language Processing and Legal Knowledge Extraction presso l’International Summer School: Managing lexical resources in the semantic web (LEX) , Facoltà di Giurisprudenza, Università di Bologna, sede di Ravenna.

Co-organizzatrice e membro del comitato scientifico del 5th Workshop on Semantic Processing of Legal Texts (SPLeT-2014), tenuto in occasione della 9th Language Resources and Evaluation Conference (LREC 2014), Reykjavik, Islanda, 27 maggio 2014.
